Prayer–Use Your Weapon   Leave a comment

There has been something that’s been bothering me since it happened; When prayer was taken out of school. What bothers me is too many Christians actually believe it. If you are a child of God, have a child in school or you work at a school, then prayer IS NOT taken out of school. That’s what the Lord Jesus told me. When that tragic thing happened in Sandy Hook Christians started saying stuff like “You see, this is what happens when you take prayer out of school”. Every time something happens at a school too many Christians make that statement. If Christians aren’t praying then prayer is taken out of school. As long as you are breathing, prayer isn’t taken out of school. We have to stand in the authority our Lord Jesus gave us over satan. That devil has deceived God’s people for too long. Why don’t you take a deep breath. You are breathing right – then pray. Pray for our children. Everywhere we say they have taken us out, let us stand up and make it known that we are not taken out. Start praying for your area, your community. Use the authority Jesus gave you. The Apostle Paul used the authority of Jesus when that snake got on his arm. Acts 28:5 tells us he shook it off into the fire and he felt no harm. I live in a small community where we have only two high schools and a couple of years ago we constantly had bomb threats. The Lord led me to pray against those bomb threats and they stopped. I pray for our children to be safe at the bus stops; I began to extend my prayer to the communities around mine. Our prayers are heard. We do not serve a deaf God. He hears our cries. So the bottom line is prayer is not taken out of the schools if you are praying. If you stopped praying, just start back. Don’t believe that lie from satan no more. Be blessed in Jesus Christ…

Luke 10:19; Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Joshua 1:9; Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

1 Thessalonians 5:17; Pray without ceasing.

James 5:16; Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

Ephesians 6:10-18; Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.

2 Corinthians 10:3-6; For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.
