BELIEVE THAT YOU HAVE RECEIVED – Andrew Wommack Ministries

Matthew 21:19 "And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away."

MATTHEW 21:18-19

The Greek word for presently means "instantly; immediately; soon." However, the disciples didn’t realize that the fig tree had died until the next day. If the tree died instantly, why didn’t they notice it until the next morning? The answer to this question is found in Mark 11:20. The tree was dead from the roots up. The tree did die instantly just as the Word declared, but what had happened to the roots wasn’t visible until the next morning.

There is a spiritual lesson here that applies to us receiving things from God. When we ask, we do receive, but it may take a period of time before we perceive it in the natural realm. God’s answer comes before we see the manifestation of what we have believed the Lord for when we prayed. Just as with this fig tree, the answer lies beneath the surface, and therefore we don’t "see" what God is doing until the answer manifests.

Not all answers to prayer are manifested instantly. Satan can hinder God’s power even after it has been released. In Daniel 10:1-13, God answered Daniel’s prayer instantly, yet it took 21 days for Daniel to see God’s answer manifest, because the prince of Persia (a demonic power) withheld the manifestation.

Prayer that meets the requirements outlined in God’s Word is always answered.

Many times we don’t perceive the answer because it always comes in the spiritual realm first then is manifested in the physical realm. If we waver from our confident faith, then we abort the manifestation of our answer to prayer. But God did answer. Everyone that asks receives.

Ask According to HIS Will, Believe, Receive   Leave a comment

And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He heareth us: And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that WE HAVE the petitions (request; things asked for) that we desired of Him. 1 John 5:14-15

Nothing Shall By Any Means Hurt You!   Leave a comment

This Word is a blessing. For me it’s confirmation because I needed this reminding. A couple of days ago the Holy Spirit spoke this to me because of some fearful thoughts I was having. Thank You, Lord God. I also appreciate how Joseph mentioned to the woman that was in fear not to worry because he was on board. He stated he didn’t say that out of pride. The key here is having faith/confidence in God’s Word and not having pride toward what He does for us. Too many have fallen into pride and acts as though they are God’s favorites. We can have faith and confidence in God’s Word and be humbled because of His love for us all. This safety is available to all of His children for our God has no favorites. When we begin to think He favors us over other brethren, we are in pride. So trust in His Word/Promise that NOTHING shall hurt us and have humility in that fact. Peace and blessings to us all.

Nothing Shall By Any Means Hurt You! – From Joseph Prince Ministries

Luke 10:19; Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Years ago, while traveling on a domestic flight in the United States, I was seated next to a woman whose whole body was tense with fear. Concerned, I asked if I could help her in any way. Between sobs, she told me about her fear of flying. I told her, “Don’t worry. I am on board. Nothing will happen to the plane.” I did not say it with pride. I said it knowing that the Lord was on board the plane with me and that I would have a safe journey because He has promised that “nothing shall by any means hurt you”.

Once, when Jesus was in the boat with his disciples, He told them, “Let us cross over to the other side.” (Mark 4:35) Believing that they would cross over to the other side, He fell asleep in the stern. A great storm arose, but it could not rouse Him from His sleep, only the cries of His terrified disciples did. They had forgotten what Jesus had said about them crossing over to the other side. They had also forgotten that with Jesus in the boat with them, there was no possibility of them going down. Nothing could by any means hurt them because Jesus was with them.

Even being thrown into a fiery furnace could not hurt three young Hebrew men because they believed that God would deliver them. They had proclaimed to the heathen King Nebuchadnezzar, “…our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king.” (Daniel 3:17) And in the midst of their fiery trial, their deliverer not only walked with them in the fire, He also delivered them from all harm. King Nebuchadnezzar even said, “Look! I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” (Daniel 3:25).

Beloved, in the midst of your storm or fiery trial, because Jesus is with you, nothing shall by any means hurt you!

You Are Already Blessed   Leave a comment

You Are Already Blessed – From Joseph Prince Ministries

Joshua 24:13; ‘I have given you a land for which you did not labor, and cities which you did not build, and you dwell in them; you eat of the vineyards and olive groves which you did not plant.’

God is more willing to bless you than you are willing to be blessed! In fact, He is so keen for you to enjoy His abundance that in His mind, giving you over and above what you need is a settled matter.

God has already promised: “I have given you a land for which you did not labor, and cities which you did not build, and you dwell in them; you eat of the vineyards and olive groves which you did not plant.”

He did not say, “I may give,” which means that it may or may not happen, but He said, “I have given,” which means that it has already happened. It is only a matter of time before your revelation of what you have through the work of Christ brings forth the abundance that He has already blessed you with.

A brother in the United States wrote in to share how he needed to buy a car, but had only half the amount of money needed. He kept calculating and strategizing, but the sums just weren’t adding up. He finally quit trying to make it happen and just rested in the Lord’s love and ability to provide for him. Weeks later, he was able to buy a car that was two years newer than what he had wanted, at exactly the amount that he had!

My friend, expect divine provision in your life because you are already richly blessed in Christ. Jesus took your place of poverty at the cross—“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.” (2 Corinthians 8:9) In Him, you are poor no more.

So stop looking at the lack in your natural resources. Look to the cross and say, “Because of Jesus’ finished work, I can expect to walk in all of His blessings!”

A Sleeping Partner Who Benefits   Leave a comment

Hi all,

Today is another blessed day from our Lord. Yesterday the Holy Spirit spoke to me “sleeping” then I receive this email this morning. No matter what we are faced with let’s rest in God’s Word and believe what He said. Just moments before, me and a friend was faced with where we had to believe and rest on His promise and His awesome Word. My friend is homeless but currently staying at a motel. She works at McDonalds but wasn’t able to work for over a week because she was sick. She got sick because she had to walk to work in the cold. She didn’t have the right coat which caused her to get sick. Because she unable to work she didn’t get a paycheck to pay her room fee. So this morning the manager of the hotel told her she had to be out at 10am. He was very strict and wouldn’t budge even after explaining to him that someone is coming this evening to pay the bill. The person who was going to pay the bill wasn’t able to have a car until 6pm. But me and her (with the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit) rested on His Word. He led us to pray a certain prayer. The Holy Spirit spoke to us Psalm 37:25; “I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor His seed begging bread”. My friend is the righteousness of God by faith through Christ Jesus. I am the righteousness of God by faith through Jesus Christ. Just like He says in His Word, we are righteousness, not by our works, but by faith in what Jesus did. So me and my friend rested in His Word; in His promises. Remember the manager told her 10am. Well 10am turned to 11am for check out. Then at 11:25 this morning, her bill was paid. We refused to believe man’s word, but rested on God’s Word. I wasn’t raised with rich parents, but I’ve seen a commercial of this reality TV show about rich kids and how their parents take care of them. They don’t have to worry about who’s going to take care of them. But that’s the same with God’s children. He is our Provider. He has everything to help us. We benefit in resting in His Word. Not only will our physical/natural needs be met, most important our spiritual needs will be met. He is our Healer; our Teacher; our Comforter; our Help. If you are sick, you can be healed right at this moment. Look at when Jesus healed people in the Bible, it didn’t take long. It happened as soon as it came out of His mouth. It’s according to our faith. If you want healing right now, ask Him to increase your faith for right now healing. He did it for me, He’ll do it for you.

Reading this Word from Lord  through Joseph Prince helped me and my friend to stay in faith. His Word is so powerful. God is soooooo awesome to us. His Love for us is awesome. His Love isn’t based on any work or performance we do. His Love isn’t conditional. He Loved us while we were sinning. Proof of that is the FACT He sent His Son to die for us and be resurrected so we can be reconciled back to our Creator, our Heavenly Father. Peace and blessings belong to us. Have a wonderful day. Veronica

A Sleeping Partner Who Benefits – From Joseph Prince

Genesis 15:12; Now when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram…

In business, sleeping or silent partners don’t work but still take home huge profits. They are like the wife of the boxing champion. He gets badly beaten up to win the prize money. But when he gets home, his wife takes it from him and says, “Thank you very much, darling!”

Do you know that in your covenant with God, you are like the boxer’s wife or the sleeping partner?

When Abraham asked God how he would know for sure that he would inherit the land that God had promised him, God made a covenant with him. (Genesis 15:8–21) But instead of cutting the covenant with Abraham by walking in between the animal pieces with him, God put Abraham into a deep sleep and cut the covenant with Jesus instead.

Jesus, the light of the world, appeared as the pillar of fire and cut the covenant with God the Father who appeared as the pillar of cloud. In other words, Jesus took Abraham’s place. He was perfect Man representing Abraham when He cut the covenant with His Father.

By substituting Abraham with Jesus, God was being gracious because if Abraham had done it, he would also have been responsible for keeping the covenant. And Abraham, being a mere man, would fail. But God the Son can never fail! Abraham’s blessings were therefore guaranteed because they did not depend on his performance but Jesus’ performance. Abraham was literally a sleeping partner, a beneficiary of the covenant.

Today, God has also made a covenant with you, called the new covenant. And like Abraham, you are a sleeping partner because the new covenant was also cut between God the Father and God the Son at Calvary. You are simply a beneficiary of the new covenant. You enjoy all its benefits without having to work at keeping it. Jesus, your representative, has already fulfilled all the conditions on your behalf. And because His obedience is perfect and His work is perfectly finished, the covenant blessings for you are guaranteed!

My friend, there is nothing left for you to do, but everything for you to believe. Don’t try to work for your covenant blessings. Rest in the Son’s finished work and receive them by faith!

How To Cast Out Fear   Leave a comment

    How to Cast Out Fear

    Author: Creflo Dollar

Summary – We must believe the love God has for us. Believing and accepting His love will eliminate fear and boost our confidence in His Word. When we abide in His Word and stay in His presence, He will protect us from hurt, harm, and danger.

    1. Fear brings oppression with it (Isaiah 54:14-17).

        1. God tells us not to fear because He is with us. He has not given us a spirit of fear (Isaiah 41:10, AMP, 2 Timothy 1:7).

            1. He will strengthen us and harden us against the difficulties of life.

              1. We will begin to notice certain problems no longer affect us.

              2. No weapon formed against us shall prosper.

            1. We must do our part and believe that God loves us (1 John 4:15-18).

              1. If we do not believe God’s love for us, we will not believe His Word.

              1. Jesus said the first and greatest commandment is to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and the second is like it—to love our neighbor as ourselves.

                1. Many people rebel against this commandment because they believe God hates them (Deuteronomy 1:26, 27).

                2. In the Old Testament, righteousness was obtained through works.

                3. When we become born again, we accept the blood of Jesus, which makes us righteous by our faith in His blood.

                4. We accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior with the knowledge that His death, burial and resurrection signify our freedom.

                5. We cannot earn this righteousness; God gives it to us freely, by grace.

                  1. Our works—serving God, tithing, being faithful in church attendance—will not make us righteous.

                    1. However, as righteous people, we do these things to honor God.

                  2. Love must be the motivation for everything we do.

                  1. Where there is fear in our lives, love has not been perfected.

                    1. Perfect love casts out fear. God is love.

                      1. When we refuse to fear, satan cannot operate in our lives.

                        1. Words that contradict God’s Word bring fear, which brings torment.

                        2. Wherever there is fear, there is unbelief.

                        3. If we do not study God’s Word, we will not be able to recognize contradictions to the Word of God.

                        4. Do not allow popular culture or society to determine what you think.

                        5. Instead, continue to align your thinking with the Word of God.

                    1. Dwell in the secret place of the Most High God (Psalm 91:1-16).

                        1. To dwell means to live in a particular place.

                          1. When you are in the presence of God, you are in the secret place of the most high, El-Elyon.

                          2. God’s truth is His Word; make it personal.

                          3. We do not have to fear anything the enemy throws at us.

                          4. A thousand shall fall at our sides and ten thousand at our right hands, but it shall not come near us.

                          5. God will deliver us because we know His name.
