Declare God’s Word Over Your Situation   Leave a comment

Declare God’s Word Over Your Situation – Joseph Prince Ministries

Psalm 91:2; I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.”

When a great storm arose as Jesus and His disciples were in a boat on the Sea of Galilee, He did not say to His disciples, “The storm is here to teach us courage.” Instead, He took authority over the storm and said, “Peace, be still!” And there was a perfect calm. (Mark 4:39)

When He met the widow of Nain whose only son had died, and on another occasion, the two sisters whose brother Lazarus had died, He didn’t tell them, “God wanted to take him home.” No, He spoke to the dead son: “Young man, I say to you, arise.” (Luke 7:14) And standing outside Lazarus’ tomb, He said, “Lazarus, come forth!” (John 11:43) And both men came back to life.

What have you been saying about your situation?

When you feel the pain in your body, don’t say of the Lord, “God wants me sick to teach me to trust Him more.” Instead, say, “Lord Jesus, I thank You that by Your stripes I am healed.” (1 Peter 2:24)

And while trying to make ends meet, don’t say of the Lord, “The Lord keeps me poor to keep me humble.” Instead, say, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1)

We are living in the last days when there are terrorist attacks and deadly viruses lurking around, and the world is afraid. But we will not speak negative words and be fearful like the people of the world. Instead, we will speak God’s Word and reign over these things. Like the psalmist, we will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.”

So find out what God’s Word says about your situation, believe it and declare it. And because God’s Word cannot return to Him void (Isaiah 55:11), you will see what you believe and confess come to pass!

Effortless Change   Leave a comment

Effortless Change – Andrew Wommack

Kneeling beside my bed one day in 1968, I began to pray, “Lord, what do I have to do to get from where I am to where You want me to be?” I opened my eyes, and as I saw my Bible laying on the bed in front of me, I heard the Lord say, “Just put My Word in your heart, and it will do the rest.”

Although the Lord spoke that to me in prayer, it was important for me to see it in the Word. He revealed and confirmed it to me through a parable in Mark 4:26-29. It says,

And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; [27] And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. [28] For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. [29] But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.

In this parable, Jesus compared the Word of God to a seed (Mark 4:14). Today, since so few of us are farmers, it might take a little explanation for us to fully grasp these truths.

First, He taught that God’s Word has to be planted like a seed in our hearts. Just as a seed doesn’t release its life until it is planted into the ground, God’s Word will not set us free until we get it in our hearts. Having the Bible on our tables, in our hands, or in our heads is not sufficient; we have to let God’s Word penetrate our hearts.

Second, the man who sowed the seed slept and rose day after day. It takes time for a seed to germinate. You can’t plant a seed one day and expect to see it growing the next day. Just because there’s nothing visible aboveground doesn’t mean the seed isn’t growing. If you dig it up every day to see if anything is happening, it will die.

A farmer has to leave his seed in the ground and believe that it’s growing even though he can’t see it. Likewise, you have to have faith that the seed of God’s Word will do what it was designed by God to do: produce its fruit in its time. Many people dig up the Word by speaking directly against what it says. They’ll let natural circumstances override what God says.

But when we meditate in God’s Word, we are undergoing effortless change! We may not see ourselves growing, but we are—just like that planted seed is growing under the ground even though the farmer can’t see it!

I know that effortless change sounds impossible to most people. The vast majority of people view change as one of the most traumatic experiences in life. But there is a way to change effortlessly. That is to take the seed of God’s Word and sow it in our hearts. Then the Word will produce all the change we need.

You’ve never seen an apple tree travail to produce an apple. It takes time, but it comes effortlessly. Likewise, it is the nature of all true born-again believers to be like Jesus. But it can’t happen without planting the seed of God’s Word in your heart.

Growth means change. Have you ever seen a plant that’s green and growing and not in a constant state of change? For the plant, it’s effortless; it just grows, and the change is evident to everyone. Your life should be just like that—green, growing, changing, and evident to the world. The plant never resolved to do anything. It just grows and produces fruit because of what it is. The Word of God is the same. When planted, it just produces—effortlessly.

If you’re like a lot of Christians, you have probably tried to change many times but find it hard and frustrating. That’s because you aren’t going about it God’s way. You substitute prayer, fasting, and your own effort for the seed of God’s Word. Don’t get me wrong: Prayer and fasting are like water and fertilizer to a seed. A seed needs those things. But it is the seed that has the miracle of life in it.

The only effort on your part is to put God’s Word in your heart and protect and nurture it. Then God’s Word will produce the change.

My whole life and ministry are the product of meditating on God’s Word. Any good thing in my life or ministry can be traced back to how God’s Word has changed me. I believe it’s the same for you. In the natural world, everything revolves around seed, time, and harvest. It’s the same in the spiritual world. God’s Word is the seed that, given time, produces a harvest.

I want to help make this new year the most fruitful time of change and harvest you’ve ever had. I’ve put together a combination of resources that will help you succeed in planting the seed of God’s Word in your life.

In the natural, we recognize that we can’t have a harvest without planting seeds. But in the spiritual realm, Christians try it all the time. Instead of going to the Word and meditating in the Scriptures themselves, they run to someone who has spent time in the Word and ask them for help. It’s an attempt to shortcut the process of seed, time, and harvest.

Then, if they don’t see results, they get confused and offended. God can meet needs through the faith of others, but it’s temporary and His secondary way of touching us. God’s best is to take the seed of His Word and plant it in our hearts where it will naturally and effortlessly produce the changes we desire.

When the Lord directed me to focus on His Word, everything changed. That is overly simple to some, but that word from God all those years ago has been my prime directive for forty-six years and has produced miraculous results. And the change this has produced has been nearly effortless. All I had to do was stay committed to God’s Word.

Receive The Word God Has Sent To Heal You   Leave a comment

Receive The Word God Has Sent To Heal You – Joseph Prince Ministries

Psalm 107:20; He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

Your Bible will do you no good if you leave it on your bedside table, gathering dust. It will do you no good if you hold it like a teddy bear when you are facing your “giants”. But God’s Word will do you a lot of good when you receive it as truth and speak it as truth! Then, you will see your healing and deliverance from every evil condition that has been sent to destroy you!

The Bible says that “He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions”. Now, when God wants to heal you, what does He do? He sends His Word. Before God delivers you from your destruction, He sends His Word.

Are you still waiting to experience the blessing of healing that Jesus died on the cross to give you? Don’t feel condemned. Your Father in heaven loves you and wants you well. But how does your healing come? By you receiving His Word on healing that He has already sent you. His promises of healing are all there in your Bible. But have you received them?

During one of our church services, a lady took out her cell phone and started sending text messages of every scripture and almost every key point that I was preaching that day to her friend who was at home dying of cancer. I was telling the congregation to keep confessing the healing scriptures over their bodies, no matter how bad their conditions were. I pointed them to Isaiah 53:5, which says, “By His stripes we are healed.” The lady got so excited that she told her friend to keep believing and confessing it every day!

Her friend, on reading the text messages, simply received the Word of God and confessed it by faith. That very same week, when she went back to the doctor, the doctor could not find a single trace of cancer in her body!

Never underestimate the power of God’s Word. The lady’s friend was healed because she received God’s Word by faith. She gladly read the messages that her friend had sent her, was encouraged by the Word, confessed it and received her miracle. God sent His Word and healed her, and saved her from her destruction!

God’s Word: Use As Directed   Leave a comment

GOD’S WORD: USE AS DIRECTED – From Andrew Wommack Ministries

Luke 8:11, "Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God."

LUKE 8:4-11

This parable illustrates the importance of the Word of God. God’s Word contains total power, but it has to be planted in our hearts and allowed to germinate before it releases that power.

The seed is God’s Word, and the types of ground are the four major categories of men’s hearts. The Word was the same in each situation, but there were different results in each case because of the condition of men’s hearts – not because of the Word. The Word doesn’t work for everyone because not everyone will allow the Word to work. The variable in this parable is the condition of these hearts. God’s Word is always the same. It has the same potential in every heart.

Good ground doesn’t just happen; it must be cultivated. This is the reason why only one out of four persons in Jesus’ parable brought forth fruit. It takes a lot of time, effort, and diligence to be a fruitful Christian. The Christian life is not like a hundred-yard dash but rather a 26.2 mile marathon. It’s quicker and easier to raise weeds than it is to raise tomatoes or corn.

In this whole parable, it was the Word that produced the fruit. The ground simply gave it a place to grow. If we will simply put God’s Word in our hearts, protect it, and give it priority in our lives, the Word will produce fruit of itself. Satan has deceived many people into thinking that they don’t have the talents or abilities to be fruitful Christians, but they are not the ones who bring forth fruit; it’s God’s Word. When we protect the Word sown in our hearts, it will do the rest.

THE POWER OF GOD’S WORD – Andrew Wommack Ministries

Luke 8:11, "Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God."

LUKE 8:11-15

It is through the reading of the Word and the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit that Christ in His fullness is known. What a privilege it is today to have God’s Word in our own language. Six hundred years ago there was no English translation of the whole Bible. Thanks to the efforts of John Wycliffe (1384) and William Tyndale (1523), today we are able to read and understand the writings of the apostles for ourselves. Men gave their lives to bring us God’s Word. We should take advantage of this wonderful privilege.

The piece of armor known as the "sword of the Spirit" is the only piece of armor that has the ability to cut, wound, and hurt our enemy, the devil. It’s not the Bible lying on your coffee table that makes the enemy flee, but it is the Word of God hidden in your heart, activated by the power of the Holy Spirit, and spoken in an appropriate situation. It’s similar to what is spoken when Jesus said in John 6:63, that "…the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life." The Word by itself doesn’t make us free. It is the Word we know and speak that will deliver us (Jn. 8:32).

Why is the Word so effective? It’s because it is the WORD of God. It has authority, because it is indeed the WORD of God. God’s Word supersedes all authority of the church, of reason, of intellect, and even of Satan himself.

It is the Holy Spirit that wields this Word as it is spoken in faith. Speaking God’s Word in faith brings the Holy Spirit into action. In Luke 4, when Jesus was tempted of the devil for forty days, it was the Word of God, that Jesus used to defeat the enemy in the time of His temptation. Jesus constantly met His temptation by quoting from God’s Word as He repeatedly stated the phrase, "It is written." Likewise, the Christian soldier must avail himself of God’s Word by placing it in his heart, so that the Holy Spirit may bring it forth at the appropriate time to accomplish a complete and total victory. It’s yours!

The Weapon of the Word   Leave a comment

THE WEAPON OF THE WORD – Andrew Wommack Ministries

Luke 4:4, "And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God."

MT. 4:1-11; MK. 1:12-13; LK. 4:1-13

Jesus answered every temptation with, "It is written." The Word of God is the sword of the Spirit (Eph. 6:17). It is the only offensive spiritual weapon that we have.

Since Jesus was the Word of God (Jn. 1:1), anything he would have spoken would have been the Word. He could have said "scat" and the devil would have had to go, yet He quoted the written Word of God three times.

This gives us great assurance that the written Word of God is sufficient for us. Jesus, in the face of the greatest temptations that Satan had to offer, did not need to say anything that was not already recorded in scripture.

It is likely that when Jesus returns to this earth and destroys His enemies, He will just speak the Word that has already been given in scripture. No wonder Satan tries to keep us from studying and knowing God’s Word. Even our good works will hurt us if they keep us from really knowing the scriptures.

God has given us this mighty weapon of His Word! When we speak the Word in faith, hell shakes. Satan and his minions have already experienced what the Word can do. They know its power. We need to know it, too.

A Sleeping Partner Who Benefits   Leave a comment

Hi all,

Today is another blessed day from our Lord. Yesterday the Holy Spirit spoke to me “sleeping” then I receive this email this morning. No matter what we are faced with let’s rest in God’s Word and believe what He said. Just moments before, me and a friend was faced with where we had to believe and rest on His promise and His awesome Word. My friend is homeless but currently staying at a motel. She works at McDonalds but wasn’t able to work for over a week because she was sick. She got sick because she had to walk to work in the cold. She didn’t have the right coat which caused her to get sick. Because she unable to work she didn’t get a paycheck to pay her room fee. So this morning the manager of the hotel told her she had to be out at 10am. He was very strict and wouldn’t budge even after explaining to him that someone is coming this evening to pay the bill. The person who was going to pay the bill wasn’t able to have a car until 6pm. But me and her (with the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit) rested on His Word. He led us to pray a certain prayer. The Holy Spirit spoke to us Psalm 37:25; “I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor His seed begging bread”. My friend is the righteousness of God by faith through Christ Jesus. I am the righteousness of God by faith through Jesus Christ. Just like He says in His Word, we are righteousness, not by our works, but by faith in what Jesus did. So me and my friend rested in His Word; in His promises. Remember the manager told her 10am. Well 10am turned to 11am for check out. Then at 11:25 this morning, her bill was paid. We refused to believe man’s word, but rested on God’s Word. I wasn’t raised with rich parents, but I’ve seen a commercial of this reality TV show about rich kids and how their parents take care of them. They don’t have to worry about who’s going to take care of them. But that’s the same with God’s children. He is our Provider. He has everything to help us. We benefit in resting in His Word. Not only will our physical/natural needs be met, most important our spiritual needs will be met. He is our Healer; our Teacher; our Comforter; our Help. If you are sick, you can be healed right at this moment. Look at when Jesus healed people in the Bible, it didn’t take long. It happened as soon as it came out of His mouth. It’s according to our faith. If you want healing right now, ask Him to increase your faith for right now healing. He did it for me, He’ll do it for you.

Reading this Word from Lord  through Joseph Prince helped me and my friend to stay in faith. His Word is so powerful. God is soooooo awesome to us. His Love for us is awesome. His Love isn’t based on any work or performance we do. His Love isn’t conditional. He Loved us while we were sinning. Proof of that is the FACT He sent His Son to die for us and be resurrected so we can be reconciled back to our Creator, our Heavenly Father. Peace and blessings belong to us. Have a wonderful day. Veronica

A Sleeping Partner Who Benefits – From Joseph Prince

Genesis 15:12; Now when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram…

In business, sleeping or silent partners don’t work but still take home huge profits. They are like the wife of the boxing champion. He gets badly beaten up to win the prize money. But when he gets home, his wife takes it from him and says, “Thank you very much, darling!”

Do you know that in your covenant with God, you are like the boxer’s wife or the sleeping partner?

When Abraham asked God how he would know for sure that he would inherit the land that God had promised him, God made a covenant with him. (Genesis 15:8–21) But instead of cutting the covenant with Abraham by walking in between the animal pieces with him, God put Abraham into a deep sleep and cut the covenant with Jesus instead.

Jesus, the light of the world, appeared as the pillar of fire and cut the covenant with God the Father who appeared as the pillar of cloud. In other words, Jesus took Abraham’s place. He was perfect Man representing Abraham when He cut the covenant with His Father.

By substituting Abraham with Jesus, God was being gracious because if Abraham had done it, he would also have been responsible for keeping the covenant. And Abraham, being a mere man, would fail. But God the Son can never fail! Abraham’s blessings were therefore guaranteed because they did not depend on his performance but Jesus’ performance. Abraham was literally a sleeping partner, a beneficiary of the covenant.

Today, God has also made a covenant with you, called the new covenant. And like Abraham, you are a sleeping partner because the new covenant was also cut between God the Father and God the Son at Calvary. You are simply a beneficiary of the new covenant. You enjoy all its benefits without having to work at keeping it. Jesus, your representative, has already fulfilled all the conditions on your behalf. And because His obedience is perfect and His work is perfectly finished, the covenant blessings for you are guaranteed!

My friend, there is nothing left for you to do, but everything for you to believe. Don’t try to work for your covenant blessings. Rest in the Son’s finished work and receive them by faith!
