THE POWER OF PRAISE AND WORSHIP – Andrew Wommack Ministries

Luke 19:39-40 "And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto Him, Master, rebuke thy disciples. And He answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out."

LUKE 19:29-40

There is nothing wrong with praising God. It is encouraged and commanded thousands of times in the scriptures. The reason the Pharisees were so upset was because they didn’t accept Jesus as God. Indeed, it would be blasphemy for Jesus to accept worship if He wasn’t God. This is another confirmation of the deity of Christ.

Only Luke records this instance of the Pharisees’ objection and Jesus’ answer. This was the triumphant entry of Israel’s King that was prophesied and anticipated for centuries. The excitement could not be contained. If people refused to praise Him, the creation would have broken out in spontaneous praise. No rock should have to do what God created us to do.

By compiling all of the writers’ accounts of what the multitudes were saying, we have this record: "Hosanna to the Son of David" (Mt. only). "Blessed is he" ("the King"–Lk.; "the King of Israel"–Jn.) "that cometh in the name of the Lord. Blessed be the kingdom of our father David that cometh in the name of the Lord" (Mk. only). "Hosanna in the highest" (Mt. and Mk. only). "Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest" (Lk. only).

Pride was what caused Satan’s original sin according to Isaiah 14:12-14. He wanted to be like the most High. One thing reserved for God alone is worship, and the devil has always sought that. If he can’t be the one to receive worship, then he seeks to turn others away from giving true worship to the most High God. This is the reason why praise and worship to the Lord are such powerful tools against Satan. He can’t stand to see God worshiped. Worship Him with all of your heart today.

Thanking God At All Times   Leave a comment

Hi all; I seriously thank God for this message on "thanking Him at all times". Last week a friend of mine sent a Word on the topic of praise. I had a hard time receiving it because I was looking at my problems and not focusing on this awesome, wonderful God that loves us unconditionally. When I got the Word I needed help to understand and receive it. The Holy Spirit helped me understand praising God in the midst of our storms. Last night I was listening to Andrew Wommack talk about God’s will for our lives from a family conference he did last week (the messages are being posted on his website). God’s purpose for us is to be a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1-1-2). So last night I presented myself to God to be a living sacrifice (with the help of the Holy Spirit). So when I saw what Joseph Prince was saying in this Word, it really blessed me and gave me the strength to give Him thanks and praise Him in everything. It is a sacrifice of praise, just like His Word says. Our God is so awesome. He knows there are times we are not going to feel like it. That’s why it’s a sacrifice of praise. We praise Him in faith because we know He is with us to bring us through the storm. He has told us "by His stripes we ARE healed". A sacrifice of praise is done out of faith, not what we feel. When we daily give ourselves to God as living sacrifices, we will give Him a praise of sacrifice. Amen… Thank God for His Word. Peace to you all. Veronica (loved by my Father)

Thanking God At All Times – Joseph Prince Ministries

Hebrews 13:15; Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

Lifting up your hands and thanking God is spontaneous and easy when you have just received a wonderful blessing: “God, I can’t thank You enough for this miracle!”

“Thank You Father, for answering my prayer!”

“Father, thank You for the windfall!”

Perhaps you came close to being in a fatal accident, but God plucked you out of danger just in time. Or your grandmother, an unbeliever for many years, finally received Jesus as her Savior and got healed of a long-term disease.

But there are times when you don’t feel like lifting up your hands to thank and praise God, yet you do it. Perhaps you feel very discouraged lately. Perhaps everything is going wrong for you and you feel like your life is in a mess. You can’t hold back the tears. Yet, you make a conscious decision to lift your hands and thank God for being in the situation with you. You open your mouth and begin to praise Him even though you really don’t feel like doing it.

In the midst of the trial that you are going through, you praise Him that He is your righteousness in spite of all the mistakes you have made. You thank Him that He is your Prince of Peace, and that His peace will arise in you and still the storms in your life.

My friend, God sees and appreciates such times when, despite feeling so discouraged, you offer a freewill thanksgiving offering to Him. In fact, your thanksgiving during such times is more highly prized by Him than your thanksgiving during those times when you are feeling joyful because you have just been blessed.

And when you choose to thank Him for His unfailing love, and His faithfulness to deliver, protect and provide for you even when you don’t see the blessings yet, before long, you will find yourself experiencing and enjoying the blessings! So lift your hands and praise the Lord, for He is good, and His mercy endures forever! (Psalm 106:1)

The Road to Emmaus – Luke 24:13-27   Leave a comment

Please watch this awesome 30 minute movie concerning two disciples encounter with our Master, Teacher, Lord and Savior – Jesus Christ.!

Luke 24:13-27 (NKJV);

The Road to Emmaus

13 Now behold, two of them were traveling that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was seven miles from Jerusalem. 14 And they talked together of all these things which had happened. 15 So it was, while they conversed and reasoned, that Jesus Himself drew near and went with them. 16 But their eyes were restrained, so that they did not know Him. 17 And He said to them, “What kind of conversation is this that you have with one another as you walk and are sad?” 18 Then the one whose name was Cleopas answered and said to Him, “Are You the only stranger in Jerusalem, and have You not known the things which happened there in these days?” 19 And He said to them, “What things?” So they said to Him, “The things concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a Prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people, 20 and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered Him to be condemned to death, and crucified Him. 21 But we were hoping that it was He who was going to redeem Israel. Indeed, besides all this, today is the third day since these things happened. 22 Yes, and certain women of our company, who arrived at the tomb early, astonished us. 23 When they did not find His body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels who said He was alive. 24 And certain of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said; but Him they did not see.” 25 Then He said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! 26 Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?” 27 And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.

Word of God on Breakthrough, Expectation,   Leave a comment

This was a Word I received from the Lord on October 1, 2012 which I posted on a previous blog. I believe the Lord led me to read this again because earlier this morning I heard the Holy Spirit tell me about how the power God is to be used in His people to be a witness to the world, which is mentioned in this Word. Over the last couple of months, I have forgotten this Word because I allowed the “cares of life” to take it from me. I allowed persecution to take it from me. I allowed satan to take it from me. I hope I learned from my past mistakes and not allow evil to take the Word of God from me, again. I thank the Lord Jesus for His grace when we fall. Please read and discern for yourselves. Be blessed in Jesus.

Word of God from 10/1/2012:

I was laying in the bed and talking with the Lord Jesus on certain matters. Some of what the Lord said to me was “expectation” and “two-leaved gate”. The two-leaved gate are double doors. Then when I got up to check my email, I received this message of confirmation from Faith Tabernacle. It confirmed my conversation with the Lord minutes before.

Isaiah 45:1-3 (KJV); Thus saith the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut; I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.

Isaiah 45:1-3 (NKJV); “Thus says the Lord to His anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held—To subdue nations before him and loose the armor of kings, to open before him the double doors, so that the gates will not be shut: ‘I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the Lord, who call you by your name, am the God of Israel.

Faith Tabernacle

I’m calling to you today. This is a moment in time when the depth of My Spirit calls to the depth of your spirit. It is a time of preparation, a time of expectation. Indeed, it is a new era. I am bringing forth the power of My church and it shall be seen and it shall be witnessed in the whole of the earth. For, many do not think I have a people, but I say to you that I have always had a people. I’ve had a few hidden away here in small places, a few hidden away there in small places. But, My voice is now calling to those who belong to Me, calling you out of the world, calling you out of the power of your own self destruction, calling you into the kingdom of light and life. I am calling you to walk with angels and to see beyond the natural. For, I have opened wide the double doors on the valley of vision and I am sending My people forth that you may see, hear and understand Me and My purposes for each one in this time frame. Let the hallelujah’s rise up within your spirit in the night vision. Let the amen’s come forth as I come to bear witness to your spirit. Do not deny Me for you belong to Me. You have been bought with a price, the price of the blood of Christ. You do not belong to the world. You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood. You are those who have been saved for this, the end of the age, so that I can demonstrate through you the power of My kingdom, says the Holy Lord God Almighty.

I kept hearing the word breakout in my spirit, and the Lord said: This is an opportune time to break free from bondages that have kept you from the liberty, both spiritually and physically, that I have intended. I have released a special anointing for this purpose, but you must choose to take advantage of this time to be done with things that have held you in captivity. John 8:36 “Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.”

Again, prior to reading this email and still praying, I was speaking against sin in my life that’s been holding me bondage for too long. As I was speaking against them, I began to feel a relief. I also began to release myself to the Lord. Not just releasing myself, but believing in my Savior, Jesus Christ. He died for me, He died for us to be free from ALL bondage. Last week the Lord woke me us to this scripture; John 3:16; For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever BELIEVES in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” I always thought I was a believer of Jesus Christ because I stated Romans 10:9-10; “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Based on stating this scripture, I became saved. But I didn’t realize I had to believe everything in His Word. I only believed part of the time and I only believed part of the Word. Somewhere between the time I gave my life to Him, I got caught up in the teachings from men and their traditions and not the Words of my Lord Jesus. When we believe in Him we are to believe EVERYTHING. We have to believe what He tells us in the Word of God. We have to believe and see ourselves no longer a slave to sin, but a slave to righteousness. I make that confession in faith that I am no longer a slave to sin, but a slave to righteousness. Again, while praying and speaking these things, I felt a mind change come over me. I began to speak what’s in HIS WORD. I also began to have a mind change because for too long I have allowed so many people to hold me back from my purpose in Him because of their mindset and their “tradition of men opinions.” Because they don’t see who the Lord made me, I began to war with the truth about me and what they perceived, which was a lie. As I mentioned above, while praying I heard the Lord tell me expectation. I have to expect change to take place in my life. I cannot believe what man say about me if it’s contrary to what the Lord says. My life IS NOT in man’s hands no more, nor is it in satan’s hands, but it’s in the Hands of the Lord Jesus Christ, my Savior and King. THAT’S FREEDOM. As children of God, we have to accept our true Kingdom in our True and Living King. We have to accept the prosperity Jesus has for us which is not found in riches. The true riches is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). When we are faithful to the true riches, we can have earthly money so it can be used for the Kingdom of Christ. There are people who’s hungry. Fill their belly and we’ll be able to reach them to fill their spirits with the Word of God. There are people needing clothes. Give them natural clothing, then they will be able to hear when we give them the Gospel which will cloth them with righteousness. When God transfers the money from the wicked which is laid up for the just (Proverbs 13:22), we are to use it for His Kingdom; not for selfish reasons. When we begin to speak the truth, people in the churches will say we speak blasphemy. That’s what they said to Jesus. They wanted to kill Him because He spoke the truth.

We have been living a lie far too long. We have been believing satan’s lies for too long. If we want the truth, go to the Bible and read the truth. Truth is real, lies are false, fake, unreal. Believing satan is living in an unreal world and living in lies. We believe him when we love money, cars, jobs, people over our Creator, our Lord, God. We believe him when he tells us things that are contrary to God’s Word. We believe satan when we accept those ungodly thoughts he puts in our mind like, we are homosexual, or adultery, we are sick, we are whores/harlots, etc. We believe him when we have low self-esteem and do things to make ourselves feel good instead of believing the Word of God concerning our lives. We believe him when we feel we don’t have to examine ourselves. The Bible tells us even the very elect will be deceived; so WHY NOT examine yourself and allow the Lord show you your heart. When we give in to all those evil thoughts, we say we believe satan over the One who died for us; JESUS. The only way to know and get this truth is through Jesus Christ. He said in John 14:6; “Jesus saith unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.” It’s time that we realize who we truly are in the Lord and believe HIM and stop believing the lies. We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37). We are a chosen generation, royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9-10; But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.) We are healed. We are the true tabernacle, so stop giving yourself over to satan to defile the temple of God. That devil, satan DID NOT DIE FOR ME. That deceiver did not die for you. Why should we be slaves to him any longer. Accept your place in God TODAY. Don’t look at your titles/positions in the church or the community. Don’t look at your works. Don’t even look at all the money you gave the church (Matthew 23:23). These things are fine and dandy, but they WILL NOT make you holy. Stop believing the lies of satan and believe the truth about who you really are. You are not worth a million dollars; You are not worth the most expensive car; You are not worth a great career or even a big house. Sadly, too many hold stock in these as great benefits from God for Godly living. Our worth isn’t found in these things; It found in JESUS CHRIST. Found in our RELATIONSHIP with Jesus Christ; Who Died for US. This is worth far more than any amount of money.

There is a breakthrough coming forth and I pray we all receive it. When thinking about breakthrough, I think about the fast laid out in Isaiah 58. I have went on fast based on the teachings I was given. Until recently, I realize those fast were godly. I’d make my list out and most of the things were selfish. However, at the time I didn’t know. I didn’t fast for the true riches of Jesus Christ. The fast in Isaiah 58 is a fast that pleases God where there are results (SEE BELOW). We need to get away from going on a fast where we make out a list, as if going shopping; primarily focused on worldly goods and not the goods received from righteousness. The enemy, satan is crafty and cunning and he can give you earthly things. That devil does that to deceive us and make us think we are serving Jesus and are actually serving him; unknowingly. When was the last time you discerned something you received and asked the Lord was this from Him? We get these things and get excited and automatically think it’s from God. I’m not saying God don’t bless us with things, but we have to use wisdom and ask the Lord if it’s from Him. I’ve had several good paying jobs over the years. Each one I WAS NOT happy. It was later after the Lord took them all away that I was able to hear from Him. He told me those jobs were not from Him. Proverbs 10:22; “The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and He addeth no sorrow with it.” So when you fast, put away those list of things and fast according to Isaiah 58. There are some people that may give you a gift (money, car, house, etc.) and you may feel it’s a blessing. But it actually something used to buy you and have deceptive motives. I know of a woman (that has a jezebel spirit controlling her) gave a car to someone in the church who was struggling financially. But the Lord told me her motives for giving away that car were ungodly. The spirit in her knew some discerned the demons in her and wanted to throw them off. I almost fell for it myself until I received that warning from the Lord. That’s when I learned how cunning and crafty satan truly is. Not only after that gift did she deceive more people, the woman she gave the car to became more blind than before. Before that she was near her breakthrough. So when we fast for things, we open ourselves up for deception. The Word of God tells us to seek Him first (Matthew 6:33; But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you). The previous verses says Matthew 6:19-21; Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Isaiah 58:3-9; ‘Why have we fasted,’ they say, ‘and You have not seen? Why have we afflicted our souls, and You take no notice?’ “In fact, in the day of your fast you find pleasure, and exploit all your laborers. Indeed you fast for strife and debate, and to strike with the fist of wickedness. You will not fast as you do this day, to make your voice heard on high. Is it a fast that I have chosen, a day for a man to afflict his soul? Is it to bow down his head like a bulrush, and to spread out sackcloth and ashes? Would you call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the Lord? “Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, and that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; When you see the naked, that you cover him, and not hide yourself from your own flesh? Then your light shall break forth like the morning, your healing shall spring forth speedily, and your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’

In this fast there are eight things to fast for:

1. To Loose the Bond of Wickedness

2. To Undo the Heavy Burdens

3. To Let the Oppressed Go Free

4. That You Break Every Yoke

5. To Share Your Bread with the Hungry

6. That You Bring To Your House the Poor Who Are Cast Out

7. When You See the Naked, That You Cover Him

8. Not Hide Yourself from Your Own Flesh

When we do this type of fast, which pleases God THEN: Your Light Shall Break Forth Like the Morning; Your Healing Shall Spring Forth Speedily; Your Righteousness Shall Go Before You; The Glory of the Lord Shall Be Your Rear Guard; Then You Shall Call and the Lord Will Answer; You Shall Cry and He Will Say, “Here I Am”. It DOES NOT mention anything like a house, a car, a job, more money. It’s all about liberty and freedom. Freedom comes also when you help others. You become free and they do also. That is worth more than a million dollars.

It’s awesome how the Lord uses numbers in His Word. There are eight things to fast for. The number eight means “New Beginnings (breakthrough); Liberty in the Spirit (breakthrough); Dying to Self (breakthrough); Jesus Transfigured on 8th day (breakthrough for us); Jesus rose from the dead on the 8th day (more breakthrough for us – HALLELUJAH TO THE LAMB OF GOD); the Number of Salvation when eight souls were saved from the flood-1 Peter 3:20 (YES breakthrough for us).

When I look at this fast, I see Jesus Christ and what He taught the disciples. What He is teaching us, even today. It’s time to start living in the Truth and the reality of life and stop living lies, the unreal life of satan. Be blessed in Jesus Christ.

Proverbs 10:2; Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death.

Proverbs 10:15; The rich man’s wealth is his strong city: the destruction of the poor is their poverty.

Matthew 6:25-34; “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Power of Prayer   Leave a comment

Good morning,

Just want to share a testimony with those of you that may be experiencing an attack by the enemy.

Yesterday was a hard day in the spirit. The enemy attacked me in the area of praying. By the time I went to bed, I was delivered. The Lord ministered to me through this video on prayer. I didn’t just look at the video, but I read the scriptures. When I went to pray before bed I was in faith and believed in the things I prayed for will be answered. No matter what we are faced with today, Jesus will bring us through it. The key is, we have to allow Him and do the things He instructs us or lead us to do. I found if I just say yes, He gives me the strength to do it. I don’t have faith in my ability to do even a simple task. It was hard for me to believe, but I asked Him for the strength to just do what He said. He told me to praise Him so me and my grand-daughter danced to Him (you’ll see her at the end of the video). He told me to read the scriptures in this video, which I did. The Word of God is so powerful. It gave me the victory in the end from our enemy satan. No matter what you are faced with today, stay with our Savior, Jesus and in the end you will have the victory. Praying for all who read this. Please pray for me and my family also.

The title of the song is "Power of Pray" by Ben Ketting from the Children of Light.

Be blessed in Him, always.

Psalm 98:1; A Psalm. Oh, sing to the LORD a new song! For He has done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory.

1 John 5:4; For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

1 Corinthians 15:50-58; Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” “O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
