Kept In All Your Ways By God’s Angels – Joseph Prince Ministries

Psalm 91:11–12; For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.

You are about to step onto the road when something pulls you back just in time to avoid being hit by a speeding car. You are shocked. When you come to your senses, you ask yourself, “Could it be that an angel just saved me from a fatal accident?”

I believe that angels walk with us. The verse tells us that God has given His angels charge over us to keep us in all our ways. And in their hands they will bear us up, so that not even a stone will trip us up.

But we may not know it when we encounter an angel. (Hebrews 13:2) This was probably the case with a couple in our church who were holidaying at a beach resort on Penang Island when a tsunami struck at about 12.30pm on 26 December 2004.

It was slightly past 11am when the wife suddenly had a craving for food from the mainland. The couple decided to check out earlier, so that they could reach the mainland in time for lunch. While loading their luggage into their car at the hotel driveway, a man impatiently motioned to them to hurry up and get moving.

Annoyed by his impatience, they quickly loaded their stuff and drove off. The minute they reached the mainland, they heard that a tsunami had struck Penang Island at the same beach where they were just a while ago. While thanking God for their narrow escape, it suddenly dawned on them that the impatient man could have been an angel charged by God to hurry them off!

God tells us that we have an innumerable company of angels. (Hebrews 12:22) And He has given them charge over us to protect us from accidents, natural disasters, terrorist bombings and other dangers. So don’t fear these things and lock yourself at home. Go for that holiday! Go for that lunch appointment! Believe that God loves you, and thank Him for His angels who walk with you and watch over you!

God’s Angels Are Watching Over You   Leave a comment

God’s Angels Are Watching Over You – Joseph Prince Ministries

Psalm 91:10–11; No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.

Don’t you just sense your Father’s love in these words? Like a mother hen that spreads her wings over her chicks to protect them, God will “cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge”. (Psalm 91:4) So don’t be fearful of accidents, terrorist attacks, diseases or tsunamis because your heavenly Father loves you and watches over you.

One of the ways He does this is with His angels. God has declared that no evil, plague or accident will befall you or even come near your dwelling “for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways”. When He says “no”, He means “no-thing”! And if He tells His angels to “keep you in all your ways”, it means round-the-clock divine protection for you!

Let me share with you a true story. A Christian was flying his plane when he realized that it was low on fuel. He contacted the air traffic controller and asked for assistance to land. But he was told that he could not land because there was a heavy fog. Then, the radio went silent and the plane entered the fog.

He was flying blindly when he suddenly heard over his headphones, “Pull up! Pull up!” He pulled up just in time to avoid hitting the expressway! Then, the voice said, “Follow my instructions and I will help you land safely.”

He obeyed and landed perfectly. Thinking that it was the air traffic controller who had helped him, he immediately looked for him to thank him. But when he found him, the man said, “Listen, we lost contact with you when I told you that there was a heavy fog. None of us managed to speak to you after that.” The pilot realized then that God had sent an angel to lead him to safety.

Beloved, your heavenly Father is watching over you. That is why no evil will befall you, nor will any plague come near your dwelling. And He has a host of angels to keep you in all your ways!

ANGELIC PROTECTION – Andrew Wommack Ministries

Matthew 18:10 "Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven."

MATTHEW 18:10-11

We have angels assigned to us. Hebrews 1:14 further reveals that their purpose is to minister to us (i.e. on our behalf). In the Old Testament, Psalm 91 teaches on the ministry of angels to God’s people.

Some have realized this truth and have taken it even further to say that we are supposed to speak to our angels and they will obey our commands. There is no instruction in scripture to do this nor is there any example of it being done. Many of the angels’ protective duties described in Psalm 91 are preventative, and we certainly could not effectively command these activities.

Rather, these angels are dispatched exactly as this verse describes – by looking at the Father’s face. God Almighty controls them for us; however, we do have a part to play. In Psalm 91 it is those who dwell in the secret place of the Most High, that are able to benefit from angelic activity (v. 1). Verse 2 further instructs us to say that the Lord is our refuge and fortress and that we are trusting in Him.

It is the combination of our faith in God and His faithfulness to us that releases the angels on our behalf. If it was solely up to God, His provision would be the same for everyone because of His mercy and grace. However, we have to receive God’s grace by faith (Eph. 2:8). As you seek the Lord, become aware of His ministering spirits which were created to minister for us, and speak forth your faith in this area, He will send forth His angels on your behalf.

Jesus, Your Good Shepherd And Door   Leave a comment

Good morning all. I received this devotional email this morning. When I woke up this morning and started praying, I started being attacked by our enemy, satan. The devil was trying to get me doubt me and my family’s protection. But while praying I had a thought come in my heart about how the Lord God is going to send me a Word concerning protection. Everything I go through He ALWAYS send me a Word to help me resist the enemy. He loves us all and does it for us all. Some hear and receive and some don’t. I pray you all do receive and believe you are covered in the Blood of Jesus. We are covered because we believe in Jesus; not because of anything we’ve done. It’s because of what Jesus did. He is the one who restored us back to God. When we received Jesus as Lord and believe in Him as Romans 10:9 says, we are His. Sadly, so many think it’s because of what they do for Him or their titles or what they gave. I used to think that way. The Bible says His death took away our curses. We are under a new covenant ONLY because of Jesus Christ. We are ONLY blessed, saved, protected, etc., because of JESUS CHRIST, God’s Son and our Savior. The Savior of the world. He is the ONLY door, the ONLY way to our protection, provision. If we don’t have it, it’s because we believe wrong. If we believe it’s because of our titles, monies, positions, performance/works, then we are putting our trust in those things and not Jesus Christ. Believe you are ONLY protected because of what He did. Peace and blessings.

Jesus, Your Good Shepherd And Door – Joseph Prince Ministries

John 10:7; Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.

Jesus said that He is the “door of the sheep”. What did He mean? Well, a sheepfold during Jesus’ time had no door which could be opened and closed. The door of the sheepfold was just an opening. In this kind of sheepfold, after the sheep had entered it, the shepherd would sleep at the entrance. The shepherd became, effectively, the “door” of the sheepfold.

When Jesus told His disciples, “I am the good shepherd,” (John 10:11) He also assured them emphatically that He was the “door of the sheep”. He was telling them and us, “Inside My sheepfold, My sheep are always safe, completely protected and kept close under My watchful eyes. And since I am just at the entrance of the sheepfold, nothing, not even the muffled bleat of one of My own, can escape My ears. Also, nothing evil outside the sheepfold can enter and touch My sheep without first coming through Me for I am the door of My sheep.”

So when the fight of life comes knocking on your door and when panic threatens to rise within you, see yourself doubly protected! He is both the good shepherd and the door of His sheep. As your good shepherd, He gave His life for you to redeem you from poverty, sickness and every other curse.

As your door, He keeps out everything evil that He has redeemed you from. Because He shed His blood for you, you are covered and protected within the sheepfold by a blood-stained door. Disaster, destruction and death must pass over you and your family because of His blood on your door. Remember that on the night of the first Passover in Egypt, the destroyer could not enter the houses of the Israelites because of the blood of the lamb on their doors. (Exodus 12:13, 23)

Today, you can live life untroubled and unafraid, knowing that Jesus, your good shepherd and door, protects and preserves you and your family. No evil will befall you or your loved ones because He is your dwelling place and refuge!

Do Not Look To The Ways Of The World To Receive The Promises From The Lord   Leave a comment

Do Not Look To The Ways Of The World To Receive The Promises From The Lord – From Grace Revelation

The Word of God is a book full of God’s promises to us.  Promises that were all fulfilled through the finished work of Christ. As we look at our lives we might question why we aren’t seeing these promises manifest in our lives.  Promises of protection, health and wholeness, provision, breakthroughs… you can go on and on.  But as you look at your life you cannot look at it through a worldly fleshly perspective.  You must look at it through the lens of grace (His unmerited favor).  One of my favorite stories in the Old Testament is the story of Elisha and his young servant that is found in 2 Kings 6.  In this story the Syrian’s where out to make war with Israel but Israel was able to avert the Syrian’s attack a number of times because of Elisha.  Elisha would send the king of Israel word in advance of what the Syrian army was attempting.  Because of this Israel was always a step ahead.  In the Syrian king’s frustration he sent the Syrian army to capture Elisha.

2 Kings 6:14-15 14 Therefore he sent horses and chariots and a great army there, and they came by night and surrounded the city. 15 And when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there was an army, surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, “Alas, my master! What shall we do?”

By all accounts that is an awful situation to be in, completely surrounded by your enemy’s army with horses and chariots.  A full-blown out attack.  Have you found yourself in that situation, in your darkest moment where everything seems to be against you?  Look at how Elisha responded to his servant who saw the trouble with his natural eyes.

2 Kings 6:16-17 16 So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” 17 And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

What awesome truth for us to live by.  We can choose to focus on our circumstances, to dwell in our negative situation from a worldly perspective.  To only see what is happening to us and around us in the natural and live in fear.  Or we can receive His super abounding grace in all situations and live a life led by the Spirit and see with unveiled eyes the finished work of Christ.  The enemy wants to deceive us to keep us focused on our natural worldly circumstances knowing that that keeps us trapped in the negative situations that are never from the Lord.  The enemy will flood us with worldly knowledge (bitter water) to have us focused on what we see instead of the Truth.  But the fact is that the unseen is greater than the seen 2 Corinthians 4:18.  Now I’m not saying that the circumstances and situations that we find ourselves in are not real, they are very real but they are not from the Lord.  And His finished work is greater, you must continue to receive His constant grace that makes your heart fertile ground to receive and focus on what is already yours because of Christ.  And watch His finished work manifest in your life. Don’t dwell in your negative circumstances as though that is what the Lord has for you.  As you receive His grace (the fullness of Jesus) you will find yourself seeing more and more of who Christ is and what He has freely given you.  As you receive His grace the Holy Spirit will show you the things that have been freely given to us by God (1 Corinthians 2:6-16).  Things that only the Spirit can reveal as it does not come from worldly wisdom.  Like Elisha the Lord wants your eyes opened to what He has already done through His Son Jesus.  So that you live always seeing and receiving the finished work of Christ. As the Spirit opens your eyes to see the fullness of the finished work of Christ in the Word you will have boldness to speak to your circumstances.  You will live speaking the language of grace that is tangible and concrete, the Word of righteousness that has power to move mountains.  This is what Elisha did, he spoke from the truth that he saw.  Truth that is greater than the natural circumstances.

2 Kings 6:18  So when the Syrians came down to him, Elisha prayed to the Lord, and said, “Strike this people, I pray, with blindness.” And He struck them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.

This story ends with the following verse  23 Then he prepared a great feast for them; and after they ate and drank, he sent them away and they went to their master. So the bands of Syrian raiders came no more into the land of Israel.  In your negative circumstances don’t dwell in silence but speak the finished work of Christ, and watch the things that come against you go their way and come back no more. It is never about what you must do but about what He has already done for us.  The minute we think that we must do something to receive from Him we start living in self-righteousness.  The law and self-righteousness veils our eyes to the truth.  That is a trap to live stuck in our circumstances and looking at our natural situations and to ourselves and the ways of the world for help.  But fleshly self effort and the ways of the world will always fail.  It is only through the fullness of Jesus, His grace upon grace through His finished work that allows us to live from glory to glory on victorious ground. This cannot be clearer than how it is written in Isaiah 30.

Isaiah 30:1-7 “Woe to the rebellious children,” says the Lord, “Who take counsel, but not of Me, And who devise plans, but not of My Spirit, That they may add sin to sin; 2 Who walk to go down to Egypt, And have not asked My advice, To strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, And to trust in the shadow of Egypt! 3 Therefore the strength of Pharaoh Shall be your shame, And trust in the shadow of Egypt Shall be your humiliation. 4 For his princes were at Zoan, And his ambassadors came to Hanes. 5 They were all ashamed of a people who could not benefit them, Or be help or benefit, But a shame and also a reproach.”

6 The burden against the beasts of the South.

Through a land of trouble and anguish, From which came the lioness and lion, The viper and fiery flying serpent, They will carry their riches on the backs of young donkeys, And their treasures on the humps of camels, To a people who shall not profit; 7 For the Egyptians shall help in vain and to no purpose. Therefore I have called her Rahab-Hem-Shebeth.[a]

In Isaiah 30 Israel was in a time of need and instead of looking to the Lord for help they looked to Egypt. Egypt represents the world and all of their ways.  In our lives we should never look to the world for answers, the success that you see in the world is a mere shadow.  It is not the truth and it is not eternal.  In our negative circumstances it might be difficult to see the success the world has in the very areas we are suffering in.  And we might question why.  The Lord’s answer to this is to come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.Hebrews 4:16.  To receive more of His grace to continue to believe in Him and His finished work and not go to the world for answers.  The Lord doesn’t want us to go to the world and live under the ways of the world because He loves us and He knows that what the world has is not the truth, it is not eternal and it is not founded on His grace (His unmerited favor),  it is all based on fleshly self effort that fails.

In verses 3-4 of Isaiah 30 the Lord says 3 Therefore the strength of Pharaoh Shall be your shame, And trust in the shadow of Egypt Shall be your humiliation. 4 For his princes were at Zoan, And his ambassadors came to Hanes. There is an eye-opening truth in these two verses.  It says that our reliance on what seems as a strength in the ways of the world will become our shame and our trust in the shadow (it does not last) of the world will be our humiliation.  Because his princes were at Zoan  Zoan was Egypt’s major fortified city in the northern branch of the Nile in the time of Pharaoh.  As per Easton’s Bible Dictionary Zoan was where “Pharaoh held his court at the time of his various interviews with Moses and Aaron.”   This is also referred to in Psalm 78:42-43.  The name Zoan means ‘stronghold‘.  This stronghold never lasted, it is a city that was rebuilt over and over and today is considered a mound of ruins.  In Smith’s Bible Names Dictionary it says that ‘The present “field of Zoan” is a barren waste, very thinly inhabited.’  It is a picture of the strength in the ways of the world. Even the world’s best, where their princes are is only a shadow that doesn’t last.  The best the world can offer ends up as a mound of ruins, a barren waste.  It also says And his ambassadors came to Hanes.  The meaning of Hanes as per Hitchcock’s Bible Names Dictionary is ‘the banishment of grace’.  The worlds ambassadors (authorized representatives), which is the world systems that speak knowledge (bitter waters) of the ways of the world speak from a banishment of grace.  There is absolutely none of God’s grace (unmerited favor) in the ways of the world.  And that is why putting our trust in the ways of the world will be our shame and humiliation.  Because their strength is merely a shadow that ends up as a mound of ruins and the knowledge that they speak is from the banishment of grace (unmerited favor).  It is all based on self-righteousness, fleshly effort that always fails.  The Lord wants us to always seek His way, and all of the ways of the Lord are grace and truth (Psalm 25:10).

In the story of Abraham there is a very interesting look at this.  When Abraham was 75 the Lord said the following promise to him.

Genesis 12:1-2;7  Now the Lord had said to Abram:

“Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you. 2 I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

7 Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, “To your descendants I will give this land.”

The Lord made a tremendous promise to Abraham and Abraham did just as the Lord had spoken.  And in the coming years Abraham inherited Canaan and God made a covenant with him.

Genesis 15:1-7

After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”

2 But Abram said, “Lord God, what will You give me, seeing I go childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?” 3 Then Abram said, “Look, You have given me no offspring; indeed one born in my house is my heir!”

4 And behold, the word of the Lord came to him, saying, “This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir.” 5 Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.”

6 And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.

7 Then He said to him, “I am the Lord, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans, to give you this land to inherit it.”

Abraham and Sarah didn’t have any children but God’s promise to him was that the world would be blessed through him and that he would give him a son from his own body and his descendants would be as many as the stars in heaven.  Abraham believed in the Lord but as the years went by they lost focus and instead of relying on the promise of the Lord Abraham and Sarah decided to make the promise manifest on their own.  Abraham went to the ways of the world (Egypt) and slept with Sarah’s Egyptian maid, Hagar (a picture of a believer going to the ways of the world to try to receive the promises of the Lord).  15 So Hagar bore Abram a son; and Abram named his son, whom Hagar bore, Ishmael. 16 Abram was eighty-six years old when Hagar bore Ishmael to Abram. – Genesis 16:15-16.  The following 16 years are a silent time in Abraham’s story, it is a picture of God’s heart of no condemnation.  Abraham and Sarah continued to live as though their lives were complete but the promise of the Lord still remained.  And when the Lord makes a promise it will come to pass.  In your life as you read the Word of God and see His promises for you know that they will come to pass as it is already completed in the finished work of Christ.  The Lord gives you visions and dreams because that is the future He sees and has for you.  Don’t give up as the years go by and you don’t see it manifest, don’t look to the ways of the world to produce results.  Remain steadfast and keep your eyes on the faithful One, Jesus Christ.  His promises in your life will come to pass.

The next chapter starts when Abraham was ninety-nine years old and it starts with the Lord re-stating the covenant He had made with Abraham.   But this time He changes his name from Abram to Abraham and from Sarai to Sarah.  Adding the ‘h’ to their names, the fifth letter in the Hebrew alphabet representing God’s grace.   And as the Lord reminded him that His covenant was between him and his descendants Abraham fell on his face and laughed, and said in his heart, “Shall a child be born to a man who is one hundred years old? And shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear a child?”  18 And Abraham said to God, “Oh, that Ishmael might live before You!” – Genesis 17:17-18.   God’s response was 19 Then God said: “No, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac; I will establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his descendants after him. 20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard you. Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly. He shall beget twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation. 21 But My covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah shall bear to you at this set time next year.” 22 Then He finished talking with him, and God went up from Abraham. – Genesis 17:19-22 Only our God can respond in such a loving way.  He doesn’t rebuke him for Ismael (a picture of trying to get His promises with his own efforts and by the ways of the world).  In fact He tells him that Ishmael (the things he has produced on his own) He will bless and make fruitful and will multiply.  But the great covenant of grace (unmerited favor) will be with Issac (the promises of God that manifest in our lives because of Him and none of us).

In our lives that always need the promises of the Lord to manifest continue to look to Him and His finished work.  Don’t rely on your efforts or the ways of the world to get the Lord’s great promises that He fulfilled in the finished work of Jesus.  Continue to receive His abundance of grace and His gift of righteousness and reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

The Blood of Jesus Protects – From Joseph Prince Ministries

Exodus 12:13; …And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.

For 400 years, the children of Israel were slaves in Egypt. Life for them was one of hard labor, pain, loss and even death. When Moses their deliverer came, what soon followed was one plague after another on the Egyptians. But none of the plagues caused Pharaoh to release the Israelites until they put the blood on their doorposts. What nine plagues could not do, the blood did! The Israelites were finally set free because of the blood.

Are you under any kind of bondage? Are your loved ones held captive by the destroyer who is bent on destroying them? Plead the blood of the Lamb of God over all that is yours and your family’s. When nothing else seems to work, His blood always works!

When I was a teenager doing a stint as a relief teacher in a primary school, one of the girls in my class was absent from school one day. I didn’t think too much about her absence until I returned home that afternoon. As I was praying, I was prompted by the Holy Spirit to pray for her protection and to cover her with the precious blood of Jesus.

It was revealed later on that she had been abducted by a notorious serial killer who had murdered a number of young children. My pupil recounted how she had been tied up and offered to the “deities” the killer had in his flat. Miraculously, he released her when the evil spirits found her to be an unsuitable offering.

Why was this pupil released unharmed? I believe that she was presented to the deities on the same afternoon that I pleaded the blood of Jesus over her. Of course, the evil spirits did not want her because the Most High God would not allow them to have her. God was protecting her. She was set free because of the blood of Jesus!

You see, when you plead the blood of Jesus, the destroyer cannot come near. When he sees the blood, he must respect the blood. He cannot touch what is covered by the blood. The blood of Jesus truly protects and sets you free!

Nothing Shall By Any Means Hurt You!   Leave a comment

This Word is a blessing. For me it’s confirmation because I needed this reminding. A couple of days ago the Holy Spirit spoke this to me because of some fearful thoughts I was having. Thank You, Lord God. I also appreciate how Joseph mentioned to the woman that was in fear not to worry because he was on board. He stated he didn’t say that out of pride. The key here is having faith/confidence in God’s Word and not having pride toward what He does for us. Too many have fallen into pride and acts as though they are God’s favorites. We can have faith and confidence in God’s Word and be humbled because of His love for us all. This safety is available to all of His children for our God has no favorites. When we begin to think He favors us over other brethren, we are in pride. So trust in His Word/Promise that NOTHING shall hurt us and have humility in that fact. Peace and blessings to us all.

Nothing Shall By Any Means Hurt You! – From Joseph Prince Ministries

Luke 10:19; Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Years ago, while traveling on a domestic flight in the United States, I was seated next to a woman whose whole body was tense with fear. Concerned, I asked if I could help her in any way. Between sobs, she told me about her fear of flying. I told her, “Don’t worry. I am on board. Nothing will happen to the plane.” I did not say it with pride. I said it knowing that the Lord was on board the plane with me and that I would have a safe journey because He has promised that “nothing shall by any means hurt you”.

Once, when Jesus was in the boat with his disciples, He told them, “Let us cross over to the other side.” (Mark 4:35) Believing that they would cross over to the other side, He fell asleep in the stern. A great storm arose, but it could not rouse Him from His sleep, only the cries of His terrified disciples did. They had forgotten what Jesus had said about them crossing over to the other side. They had also forgotten that with Jesus in the boat with them, there was no possibility of them going down. Nothing could by any means hurt them because Jesus was with them.

Even being thrown into a fiery furnace could not hurt three young Hebrew men because they believed that God would deliver them. They had proclaimed to the heathen King Nebuchadnezzar, “…our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king.” (Daniel 3:17) And in the midst of their fiery trial, their deliverer not only walked with them in the fire, He also delivered them from all harm. King Nebuchadnezzar even said, “Look! I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” (Daniel 3:25).

Beloved, in the midst of your storm or fiery trial, because Jesus is with you, nothing shall by any means hurt you!
