True Riches   Leave a comment

So many think when they obtain a lot of goods/things that’s godliness (1 Timothy 6:5; "Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, SUPPOSING THAT GAIN IS GODLINESS: from such withdraw thyself"). But verse 6 says, "But godliness with contentment/satisfaction/ease of mind is great gain".

One day while laying in bed, instead of looking around at the things I have, I began to realize Who I have. then I thought I’m rich, not because of what I have, but because of Who I have; JESUS. I have the true Word of God. His Word comforts me more than any THING I have or will have. I used to think money or things would make me feel like I had some worth. But the Lord helped me realize those things did not; and what they gave me was temporary satisfaction. His unconditional love for us all makes me smile. When you have someone that loves you, no matter what you’ve done wrong or will do wrong, that brings peace. So, I don’t boast in any worldly accomplishments I’ve done or boast in any worldly goods I have, because they are all dung/RUBBISH to me (Philippians 3:8). They are now because I realized no matter how much I get, I will never have true happiness or peace without Him. The greatest Gift I have is my relationship with my Father, my Creator, Abba God. My Daddy. He loves us so much He came to earth to live as a man. He understands all our troubles because He suffered for us. He left His awesome home in Heaven, to be spit on, poked on, talked about, lied on, to have a thorn of roses on His head, to be beaten beyond recognition, to have stakes put through His hands and both feet; all because He loves us. So, I can truthfully and honestly say I have it good. Real good because of Him and what He did for us. Thank You Lord God, my Creator, my Abba/Daddy; Thank You Jesus, my Lord AND Savior; Thank You Holy Spirit; my Help, my Comforter. Thank You… So if you get comfort in the things you have in your life, you are truly missing out. The greatest comfort and peace comes from the Prince of Peace, Jesus. I’m not against having things, but those things are only temporary and cannot give what Jesus did. If you don’t have peace, you haven’t truly acknowledged Christ as your everything. Instead of seeking after those things that make you look good, seek after that One, who made us righteous. That’s being rich. Having riches isn’t bad, but if they are what you need to feel worth, then you really aren’t rich.

Mark 4:19; And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

Mark 10:24; And the disciples were astonished at His words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that TRUST IN RICHES to enter into the kingdom of God!

Luke 6:24-26; But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation. Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep. Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

Luke 12:33; Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.

1 Timothy 6:7-19; For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession; That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen. Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

The Word(s) of God   Leave a comment

The world was created by words; AND GOD SAID… (Genesis 1). Since the world was created by words, Jesus used a word to curse a fig tree (FYI). We were also created by the Word of God (Genesis 1:26-28). Since we were created by God Words (not apes), we respond to words. You can be healed by faith in a word; His Word (Matthew 8:8). Demons are cast out by words. Your day is determined by words. We can build up others by using Godly words. The Bible (Word of God) tells us to build up (edify) and NOT tear down (1 Thessalonians 5:11). If no one else encourage you, speak Godly words to yourself. Reject all ungodly words. We can speak life by speaking Godly Words or speak death by saying what satan says. The devil words are opposite to God’s Words. God’s Words are truth and they are light. Even though we have power in our words, we can use our words for Godliness and not selfishness, evil, malice/wickedness. Don’t just speak life over family and friends, but speak them over your enemies also. Jesus did when He prayed for His enemies to be forgiven. Our enemy, satan, comes to steal the word, so God tells us to keep/guard/protect our hearts (Luke 8:15).

Lord God, let our words be full of grace and truth. Help us to speak life by our words being led by the Holy Spirit. Thank You. In Jesus Name, Amen.

John 1:14; And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Colossians 3:16; Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Job 23:12; Neither have I gone back from the commandment of His lips; I have esteemed the words of His mouth MORE THAN my necessary food.

Matthew 8:5-10; And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto Him a centurion, beseeching Him, and saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: BUT SPEAK THE WORD ONLY, AND MY SERVANT SHALL BE HEALED. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. When Jesus heard it, He marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

Matthew 8:16; When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:

Matthew 24:35; Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Mark 4:14; The sower soweth the word.

Acts 20:32; And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

Ephesians 4:29; Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying (strengthening and building up), that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

1 Thessalonians 5:11; Therefore encourage (admonish, exhort) one another and edify (strengthen and build up) one another, just as you are doing.

The Word of God is treasure and more precious than gold. Here is a dream the Lord gave me last year concerning the Word. I’ve posted the dream before, but earlier today the Holy Spirit reminded me of it while I was being taught on this topic. Peace and blessing to you all.

On 1/22/2013 I came under attack from someone close to me. This person was used by satan to steal a word I received earlier that day concerning believer’s authority. I made the mistake by responding in my emotions. So the morning of the next day (1/23/2013) the Lord gave me a dream which taught me why we cannot respond to negativity in a negative manner. We are not to recompense evil for evil (Romans 12:17). In the dream I was given a bag full of treasures. They were gorgeous and they meant a lot to me. Not because they were gold, but because they were of value because they came from the Lord. As I was looking in the bag and saw the treasures, I felt honored. But in a quick instance my head turned to the altar. I went to the altar and without question I place those treasures that were important to me on the altar; giving them to an idol that was on an altar. Then on that same altar I sacrificed my body to this idol and gave myself to it sexual.

The treasures in the bag were the Word of God. When we give in to satan, we are not placing importance to the Word of God. We are not seeing it as holy and sacred; and thus we give it to satan. We have to realize how important the Word of God is. Without it we are nothing. The Word covers us. It delivers us. It redeems us. It heals us. It Loves us. It tells us the truth. It corrects us. It convicts us. It nourishes us. It gives us life. It keeps us from being deceived. It saves us. It protects us. It’s our sword in spiritual battle. It makes our enemy (satan) flee. It was the Word that caused satan to flee when he tempted Jesus. We have to hold dear to the Word of God. We have to walk in the Holy Spirit every day so we don’t give it away. We have to hide it in our hearts. We have to keep our hearts and minds so it’s not taken.

NOTE: Greek meaning for keep is to protect; to hem in (enclose; to put in)

Mark 4:13-20; And He said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables? The sower sows the word. And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts. These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness; and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they stumble. Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.”

Matthew 7:6; Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.

Hebrews 4:12; FOR THE WORD OF GOD IS LIVING AND POWERFUL, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Psalm 119:11; Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.

Proverbs 4:20-27; My son, attend to My words; incline thine ear unto My sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Put away from thee a froward (perverse) mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.

1 Peter 1:22-25; Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever, because “All flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls away; But the word of the Lord endures forever.”

Job 23:11-12; My foot has held fast to His steps; I have kept His way and not turned aside. I have not departed from the commandment of His lips; I HAVE TREASURED THE WORDS OF HIS MOUTH MORE THAN MY NECESSARY FOOD.

Singleness of Heart   Leave a comment

Good morning all,

While reading this devotional word I thought about a dream the Lord gave me last year concerning true treasure. The Lord gave me that dream because of how I responded in the wrong way to someone close to me that persecuted me. The enemy had to use this particular person because of the closeness of our relationship and that I received a Word from the Lord that produced changed in my life. But when this person attacked me I responded in negative emotions instead of responding in the Spirit of God. We are not to recompense evil for evil (Romans 12:17). When we do that we lose the treasures which is God’s Word; which is more than any amount of money or natural treasure. In the dream I was given a bag full of treasures. They were gorgeous and they meant a lot to me. Not because they were gold, but because they came from the Lord. As I was looking in the bag and saw the treasures, I felt honored. But in a quick instance my head turned to the altar. I went to the altar and without question I placed those treasures, that meant so much to me, on the altar; giving them to an idol that was on the altar. Then on that same altar I sacrificed my body to this idol. The Lord’s Holy Spirit told me the treasures that were in the bag were the Word of God and when I gave in to that persecution in a negative way, I gave away those treasures. When we give in to satan we are not placing importance to the Word of God. We are not seeing it as holy and sacred. So when we think about treasures let’s think about the Word of God. The Lord gave us a parable in Mark 4:13-20 on when the Word is sown on different type of hearts. In my case, the Word was sown among thorns. I heard the word, but allowed the cares of this world and the desire for other things to come and choke the word and it became unfruitful. When we have a singleness of heart with our Lord Jesus, the Word can fall on good ground. We hear it, accept it, and bear fruit from it. Matthew 7:6 tell us to not give what is holy to the dogs nor cast our pearls before swine. When we accept the word, we need to keep it in our hearts and minds so it isn’t taken. NOTE: Greek meaning for “Keep” is to protect; to hem in (enclose; to put in).

SINGLENESS OF HEART -  From Andrew Wommack Ministries

Matthew 12:35, "A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things."

MATTHEW 12:32-45

Our spirit is definitely a part of our heart, but as seen in 1 Peter 3:4, it is only a part. Sin, iniquity, unbelief, etc., come from the heart but not the born-again spirit. Hebrews 4:12 suggests that spirit and soul are both part of the heart; hence, the scriptures admonish us to believe with all our heart (Acts 8:37), have singleness of heart (Col. 3:22), and tell us our hearts can have two minds or ways of thinking (Jas. 4:8).

Even Christians still struggle with things like pride and foolishness which Jesus said came out of our heart. It’s certain that our born again spirit is not the source of these sins. The heart encompasses more than our spirit.

The English word "soul" comes from the Greek word "psuche," translated "heart, life, mind, and soul." The mind is the principle and leading part of the soul, followed by the will and emotions. We could also describe the soul as being the hidden part of all existing beings or what most people would call the personality. The soul is the center of the feelings and emotions, appetites and desires, as well as sense perception and consciousness. The soul may also speak of the totality of a person – his total being or self, a person, and the hidden man or inward man. The soul and the body do not get born again. It is the spirit of man that becomes totally new at salvation. So, although every believer receives the same miraculous spiritual rebirth, the visible results of that inward change will vary from person to person according to how much he renews his mind. The term "heart" can include all of the inner man – spirit, soul, or any portion thereof. The peace of God will keep your heart at rest in Christ Jesus. Let Him.

Expectation   Leave a comment

Good morning. I want to share a Word and teaching the Lord Jesus gave me in October, 2012.

On October 1, 2012, I was lying in the bed and talking with the Lord Jesus on certain matters. Some of what the Lord said to me was “expectation” and “two-leaved gate”. The two-leaved gates are double doors. Then when I got up to check my email, I received this message of confirmation from Faith Tabernacle. It confirmed my conversation with the Lord minutes before.

Isaiah 45:1-3 (KJV); Thus saith the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut; I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.

Isaiah 45:1-3 (NKJV); “Thus says the Lord to His anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held—To subdue nations before him and loose the armor of kings, to open before him the double doors, so that the gates will not be shut: ‘I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the Lord, who call you by your name, am the God of Israel.

Faith Tabernacle

I’m calling to you today. This is a moment in time when the depth of My Spirit calls to the depth of your spirit. It is a time of preparation, a time of expectation. Indeed, it is a new era. I am bringing forth the power of My church and it shall be seen and it shall be witnessed in the whole of the earth. For, many do not think I have a people, but I say to you that I have always had a people. I’ve had a few hidden away here in small places, a few hidden away there in small places. But, My voice is now calling to those who belong to Me, calling you out of the world, calling you out of the power of your own self destruction, calling you into the kingdom of light and life. I am calling you to walk with angels and to see beyond the natural. For, I have opened wide the double doors on the valley of vision and I am sending My people forth that you may see, hear and understand Me and My purposes for each one in this time frame. Let the hallelujah’s rise up within your spirit in the night vision. Let the amen’s come forth as I come to bear witness to your spirit. Do not deny Me for you belong to Me. You have been bought with a price, the price of the blood of Christ. You do not belong to the world. You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood. You are those who have been saved for this, the end of the age, so that I can demonstrate through you the power of My kingdom, says the Holy Lord God Almighty.

I kept hearing the word breakout in my spirit, and the Lord said: This is an opportune time to break free from bondages that have kept you from the liberty, both spiritually and physically, that I have intended. I have released a special anointing for this purpose, but you must choose to take advantage of this time to be done with things that have held you in captivity. John 8:36 “Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.”

Again, prior to reading this email and still praying, I was speaking against sin in my life that’s been holding me bondage for too long. As I was speaking against them, I began to feel a relief. I also began to release myself to the Lord. Not just releasing myself, but believing in my Savior, Jesus Christ. He died for me, He died for us to be free from ALL bondage. Last week the Lord woke me up to this scripture; John 3:16; For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever BELIEVES in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” I always thought I was a believer of Jesus Christ because I stated Romans 10:9-10; “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Based on stating this scripture, I became saved. But I didn’t realize I had to believe everything in His Word. I only believed part of the time and I only believed part of the Word. Somewhere between the time I gave my life to Him, I got caught up in the teachings from men and their traditions and not the Words of my Lord Jesus. When we believe in Him we are to believe EVERYTHING. We have to believe what He tells us in the Word of God. We have to believe and see ourselves no longer a slave to sin, but a slave to righteousness. I make that confession in faith that I am no longer a slave to sin, but a slave to righteousness. Again, while praying and speaking these things, I felt a mind change come over me. I began to speak what’s in HIS WORD. I also began to have a mind change because for too long I have allowed so many people to hold me back from my purpose in Him because of their mindset and their “tradition of men” opinions. Because they don’t see who the Lord made me, I began to war with the truth about me and what they perceived, which was a lie. As I mentioned above, while praying I heard the Lord tell me expectation. I have to expect change to take place in my life. I cannot believe what man says about me if it’s contrary to what the Lord says. My life IS NOT in man’s hands no more, nor is it in satan’s hands, but it’s in the Hands of the Lord Jesus Christ, my Savior and King. THAT’S FREEDOM. As children of God, we have to accept our true Kingdom in our True and Living King. We have to accept the prosperity Jesus has for us which is not found in riches as the world perceive riches such as houses, cars, money, jobs, etc. The true riches is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). When we are faithful to the true riches, we can have earthly money so it can be used for the Kingdom of Christ. There are people who’s hungry. Fill their belly and we’ll be able to reach them to fill their spirits with the Word of God. There are people needing clothes. Give them natural clothing, then they will be able to hear when we give them the Gospel which will cloth them with righteousness. When God transfers the money from the wicked which is laid up for the just (Proverbs 13:22), we are to use it for His Kingdom; not for selfish reasons. When we begin to speak the truth, people in the churches will say we speak blasphemy. That’s what they said to Jesus. They wanted to kill Him because He spoke the truth.

We have been living a lie far too long. We have believed satan’s lies for too long. If we want the truth, go to the Bible and read the truth. Truth is real, lies are false, fake, unreal. Believing satan is living in an unreal world and living in lies. We believe him when we love money, cars, jobs, and people over our Creator, our Lord, God. We believe him when he tells us things that are contrary to God’s Word. We believe satan when we accept those ungodly thoughts he puts in our mind like, we are homosexual, or adultery, we are sick, we are whores/harlots, etc. We believe him when we have low self-esteem and do things to make ourselves feel good instead of believing the Word of God concerning our lives. We believe him when we feel we don’t have to examine ourselves. The Bible tells us even the very elect will be deceived; so WHY NOT examine yourself and allow the Lord show you your heart. When we give in to all those evil thoughts, we say we believe satan over the One who died for us; JESUS. The only way to know and get this truth is through Jesus Christ. He said in John 14:6; “Jesus saith unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.” It’s time that we realize who we truly are in the Lord and believe HIM and stop believing the lies. We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37). We are a chosen generation, royal priesthood, a holy nation (1 Peter 2:9-10; But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.) We are healed. We are the true tabernacle, so stop giving yourself over to satan to defile the temple of God. That devil, satan DID NOT DIE FOR ME. That deceiver did not die for you. Why should we be slaves to him any longer? Accept your place in God TODAY. Don’t look at your titles/positions in the church or the community. Don’t look at your works. Don’t even look at all the money you gave the church (Matthew 23:23). These things are fine and dandy, but they WILL NOT make you holy. Stop believing the lies of satan and believe the truth about who you really are. You are not worth a million dollars; You are not worth the most expensive car; You are not worth a great career or even a big house. Sadly, too many hold stock in these as great benefits from God for Godly living. Our worth isn’t found in these things; It found in JESUS CHRIST. Found in our RELATIONSHIP with Jesus Christ; Who Died for US. This is worth far more than any amount of money.

There is a breakthrough coming forth, for some it’s already here. I pray we all receive it.
