Revelation of God’s Word   Leave a comment

So many believe they are blessed or a success by the things they have. There is nothing wrong with things, if we have the right perspective concerning them. There are so many in the world that have things and are unhappy and have no real peace. Look at so many who have success, fame and a name in the world and see how so many of them are dying and/or sick. Their success, riches and fame did not and cannot give them what’s found ONLY in God. That is sad, but that’s what the world teaches. However what’s worse, so many in the church are blind to the truth and believe that are only blessed when they received things. They feel their blessings are based on their possessions. That attitude can leave others in the church feeling they aren’t blessed because they don’t have great possessions. When we think we are blessed because of our possessions, we are more like the world, instead of being the salt of the earth. But, there’s something to consider, the devil can give things also. The devil does that to keep us more focus on those type riches than the true riches (God’s Word). God tells us in the Bible, “Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches” – Jeremiah 9:23.

So many don’t realize those things obtained will not give strength to overcome negative things that happen. Only believing God’s Word will help us. If you received a negative diagnosis from a doctor, you can believe when God said “by His stripe you ARE healed”. Believing God’s Word isn’t just confessing/acknowledging it, but it’s believing the Word you are confessing.

Go beyond of just getting information and being satisfied with knowing the Word. But desire revelation of God Word. Too many take the fact that they have knowledge of the Word and get swelled head. When we get revelation of what God Word is actually saying, we will experience true victory, peace that surpasses understanding. We will have faith in the midst of tribulation and won’t get discouraged when negative things happen. We will hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering (Hebrews 10:23) because we have revelation of God faithfulness. The latter of that verse says He is faithful that promised. He promised by His (Jesus) stripes we ARE healed. God promised that He is our Provider by saying He will provide ALL of our needs according to HIS riches in glory. God promised He will NEVER leave us nor forsake (abandon) us. God promised He WILL NOT impute (keep record) of our sins (Romans 4:8; Romans 13). When you pray and say Amen, you are saying you agree with what God said and did. Have hope which is an expectation for good. Have faith in His Grace and respectfully come boldly to Him knowing and believing IT IS DONE.

Hebrews 10:23; Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised;)

Matthew 6:20; But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

Matthew 5:11; Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Luke 6:22; Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake.

Romans 4:8; Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

James 1:12; Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

James 1:25; But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Matthew 5:2-11; And He opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Your Answer Is In His Word – From Joseph Prince Ministries

Proverbs 4:20–22; My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart;

God has given us a sure way to receive the answers to our problems and challenges. It is His Word. Every answer or solution we need is found in the Bible.

Yet, many Christians are not walking victoriously in certain areas of their lives. This is because the devil continuously wages a war of distraction against them. He has managed to take them away from the one thing that can bring them victory—the Word. He will do everything possible to prevent them from opening the Bible because he knows that the Word will deliver them.

The distraction can be very subtle: A lot of things to get done, a lot of TV programs that interest you, or it may take the form of a big problem that makes you feel that you need to focus all your attention on it. The enemy knows that if he can get you to take your eyes off the Word of God, he can keep you from winning the battle.

When you are going through a tough time, it is not enough to know that God’s answer to the problem is “somewhere in the Bible”. Find the scripture in which God has promised the solution. Meditate on it until the truth of that scripture is revealed to you. When you do this, no demon or devil can prevent that word from God from bearing fruit in your life.

Even Jesus Himself used the Word to defeat the devil in the wilderness—“It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’” (Matthew 4:4) The way to defeat the enemy is with “It is written…”

My friend, there is no substitute for the written Word. God tells us that we will find life and health if we give our attention to His Word and keep it in the midst of our hearts. So get into the Word and let God’s promises abide in you.
